It was later the brand focused on the expansion of online sportsbooks in the US. New management in the company decided to bring back the Caesars Sportsbook name for the company’s properties. That transaction closed the following year, and the Caesars Sportsbook brand was retired. In 2020, Caesars Entertainment announced that it would acquire William Hill’s sports betting operations in the United States. Some of those states do not have live sportsbooks at all.

In Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming, players may create an account on their phone or computer. In Nevada, players must visit a retail sportsbook to open an account. The Caesars Sportsbook app is available in more than a dozen states. While Downtown Grand is not owned by Caesars, the sportsbook there uses that brand instead of William Hill. Other Las Vegas sportsbooks under the Caesars brand include Horseshoe (formerly Bally’s), Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Linq, Paris, Planet Hollywood, and Rio. Its flagship sportsbook is Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip. Caesars is one of the largest sportsbook operators in the United States.
